Crookwell Golf Club is a visitor friendly club located on the edge of Crookwell, next to the show ground, it comprises an 18 tee / 9 hole golf course and an adjoining clubhouse. The clubhouse comprises a bar and bistro and is generally staffed Thursday – Saturday evenings and all day Saturday.
The golf course features 9 grass greens and 18 tees. A number of holes are protected by sand bunkers and / or feature a water hazard. The fairways are tree lined with a mix of both native and European trees.
Being on the top of the Great Dividing Range the golf course playing conditions transition with the seasons. Summer months generally see good ball run on the fairways, while in winter the course generally plays long. The variation in the prevailing wind strength and direction creates a new challenge each time you play our great course.
Competition golf is played on Saturdays and visitors are welcome to participate, bookings are not recommended but not essential – to book a tee time phone 0428 693 915.
During daylight savings a Thursday afternoon 9 hole “chook run” competition is held, and visitors are welcome to play.
For the technically minded Crookwell golf Course has a slope rating of 123. The course is a par 70 (men) / par 73 (women)
Visitors are welcome to play on the course any time outside of competitions. If the clubhouse is not open there is an honesty box located at the first tee.
The clubhouse is open with a fully stocked bar on Thursday (daylight saving) and Friday evenings and all day Saturday. Meals are available from the 19th Hole Cafe/Bistro located inside the clubhouse.
